I went ahead and put together a huge table of tarot card keywords along with correspondences borrowed from Lon Milo Duquette and Crowley, and then I went and felt like a couple cards just demanded I attach myths to them in the middle of my finding unique keywords so I then was compelled by the muses to multiply my work by like 3 times including research. Oh well, I must imagine lady Ishtar is satisfied. One revision I would propose to this schema was suggested to me by my colleague Ariana Amour @lovejustlied - She introduced me to the idea that perhaps rather than signs, we should assign houses to the major arcana as follows: The Emperor - 1HS The Hierophant - 2HS The Lovers - 3HS The Chariot - 4HS Strength/Lust - 5HS The Hermit - 6HS Judgement/Adjustment - 7HS Death - 8HS Temperance - 9HS The Devil - 10HS The Star - 11HS The Moon - 12HS She argues that as the fact the Golden Dawn schema was codified contemporaneously with the early Theosophical School of Modern Astrology and therefore likely picked up an alphabet schema drawing an equivalence between signs and houses which is borrowed from Indian Sidereal Astrology and haphazardly transplanted onto Tropical Western Astrology. I find this elucidation profoundly compelling and it has become part of my understanding of the Major Arcana.
